The Team
At Along Came Mary Productions, we pride ourselves on our team approach to event management and we have a specific and proven style of event management. Our goal is to provide you with a team that is responsive, responsible, and reliable; a team that will lead all of the vendors involved in your event to achieve and exceed your vision. Each event is led by a group of seasoned Event Producers, Event Administrators, and Event Coordinators. This coordinating crew of professionals will always be available, as the key contacts, to you and/or your committee of event planners. While each person's area of expertise differs, all of this personnel has the experience and event knowledge to assist in any area.

In addition to your Along Came Mary executive staff, our Los Angeles office and personnel will be available to support all of our efforts from planning through execution of the event. Every member of your Along Came Mary Productions team knows that "everything matters" and they will work together to insure that every detail is covered.

Here are some of our key staff.

Mary Micucci is the Founder and Owner of Along Came Mary Productions.

Starting the company from the back of a Volkswagen Bug in the mid seventies, Mary has built ACM into the number one event coordinating and gourmet catering company in southern California.

Bill Starbuck is Along Came Mary's Vice President of Catering. Over 25 years ago, Bill started as our Executive Chef and since then, has become widely recognized as a master of large event gourmet catering. His skill at organizing and executing gourmet sit down dinners for as many as 3,000 guests and thematic buffet and food station parties for as many as 20,000 guests is unrivaled in the special event industry.

Janine Micucci is an event producer and has been with Along Came Mary Productions since 1990. Recent events Janine has produced include clients such as Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover, MTV, VH1, and Nickelodeon, as well as large fund-raising events such as Entertainment Industry Foundation's Tribute to Style and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Her specialty is corporate branding married with trend setting style, producing events to match a corporation's image and style. She creates environments that look, feel, sound and taste inviting to guests for absolutely unforgettable events.

Michael Gapinski is an Executive Vice President and has been with ACM since 1989. His broad experience with events of all sizes and his aesthetic sensibilities with regards to decor and cuisine make him one of Along Came Mary's greatest assets. His exacting attention to detail and elegance ensure exquisite results and memorable events. He coordinates all types of events for ACM with a particular specialization in high style events.

Cynthia Lopell is the Senior Executive Coordinator and has been with ACM since 1993. Her logistical and communicative skills, creativity, and expertise make her an extraordinary member of our event production team. Cynthia's superb coordination abilities have contributed to the success of the SAG Awards Post-Party, The Soprano's EMMY Celebration, as well as the highly publicized premieres as The Talented Mr. Ripley and The Hurricane.

Along Came Mary is comprised of five major divisions: Administration & Coordinating, Staffing, Catering, Production, Accounting. All of the persons in these departments have extensive backgrounds in their fields and the directors of those departments have been with us for many years. We pride ourselves on the longevity of our personnel. As you can see from the above, our staff all stay with us. As a growing and expanding company, this core group serves to maintain the consistency needed by any winning team.
